Why Day Creations — where creativity makes a difference.
Why Day Creations was founded in 2023 by David and Nicki Agius in Whyalla, South Australia.
What began as a simple creative idea quickly grew into something much bigger — a place where technology, creativity and community come together.
From designing colourful creatures to running workshops and community events, our goal has always been simple:
to create opportunities, inspire creativity, and make a positive difference in our community.
Creativity That Makes a Difference
Why Day Creations exists to prove thatcreativity can change lives and strengthen communities.
From our main street store in Whyalla we design and produce colourful 3D printed creations — from collectible creatures and sensory tools to gifts and custom souvenirs — all proudly made locally.
But Why Day Creations is about more than what we make.
It’s aboutcreating opportunities, supporting our community, and helping people discover the joy of creativity.
Built on Inclusion
At the heart of Why Day Creations is a commitment to inclusive employment and opportunity.
Our team includes employees with disabilities who work across production, customer service and workshops in an environment that promotes creativity, confidence and skill-building.
We also offer work experience placements that allow young people to learn new skills and contribute to meaningful projects.
Seeing our team grow in confidence and capability is one of the things we are most proud of.
Supporting Our Community
Why Day Creations was built to be a business that gives back.
We regularly deliver STEM and creative workshops for schools, helping young people explore design, creativity and technology.
We are also proud supporters of local community events, including sponsoring the Whyalla Show, an event that celebrates the creativity, culture and spirit of our region.
We also support local businesses and tourism by producing high-quality, Whyalla-made 3D printed souvenirs and gifts, helping organisations showcase the identity of our region while keeping creativity and production local.
Through these initiatives, we aim to strengthen community connections and celebrate the creativity that makes Whyalla unique.

Being based in a regional city gives us the opportunity to create something meaningful close to home. We love working with local schools, organisations and businesses to inspire creativity and showcase what our community can achieve together.
Many of our creations are inspired by the region itself — from Australian wildlife to the incredible marine life of Spencer Gulf. By producing our designs locally, we help celebrate Whyalla’s identity while supporting local tourism and small business.
